3.0.12 Edit pages not loading/responding

    I had to revert back to 2.4.11 after the update to 3.0.12… Everything worked just fine at first, but when I went to go edit a page is when problems started happenng.

    The edit page would not fully load and I could not make changes. Chrome would keep asking me if I wanted to close the page down since the page was not responding.

    Not sure what the deal is, but I reverted for now since I need to be able to edit pages.

    Sorry not much help on the issue… But I thought I would let you know.

    WP Version is 6.1.1

    Sorry to hear you had an issue. I’m not sure how to test for this, I’ve not been able to recreate but I’m on the lookout for anyone else reporting.

    Would it be possible to post a link to the front end of your page so I can get an idea of what content is on the page?

    I am going to create a staging site and test this a bit more with the newer versions you have since released. I was able to go back to the previous non 3.0 version for now.

    I didn’t noticed any problems with the content on the live pages. It was just the editor. When I tried loading the editor of a page to make changes, it just was not loading. I could not click anything to make changes and Chrome would eventually tell me that the pages was no longer responding.

    OOOOHHHH…. I just saw a new post that makes sense to the problems i am having!

    The pages I were trying to edit DID HAVE reusable content on them? So maybe that is a place to look?
