    Hi,

I find that after activating the menu, mega menus and drop down menus appear fine, however when moving the mouse off the top level to select an item on the dropdown, the dropdown immediately closes, so no second level item can be clicked.

Any tips on where to look to solve this type of problem?

  • All drop down menus will close when moving the cursor on an angle to select the submenu. One must move directly horizontally to the first submenu item and then down to the submenu item one wants to select. The only way I have found to workaround that problem is to delay the closing of a drop down menu by 1 second. This article explains it and other solutions. https://css-tricks.com/dropdown-menus-with-more-forgiving-mouse-movement-paths/

ok thanks… actually it was a z-index issue, I had a header z-index that meant that the Mega Menu immediately lost the hover on attempting to enter the dropdown.

Mega Menu does have a hover intent setting and does normally deal with hover issue.
