2nd level Dropdown menus don’t work in IE

I’m putting together a blog for my comic book. I’m using dropdown menus, which came with the Justux theme I’m adapting.

The dropdown menus work fine in Firefox and Netscape. However, the second-level dropdown menus are visible but cannot be clicked on in IE and Opera. (To see the second-level dropdown menus, scroll over the “read the comic” menu).

Can anyone tell me how to make the second-level dropdown levels work in IE and/or Opera? (I’m a little more concerned with IE, since that’s what most readers use).

Or if I can’t make them work, could anyone suggest a way to have the second-level menus not appear at all in Ie and/or Opera (but continue to appear in Firefox and Netscape)? The second-level links aren’t absolutely necessary, so folks could get by without them.
