2nd installation after changing database

  • Hi, I previously had wordpress installed and running no problem, but then I changed database. Now when I try to upload having edited the config file I get this message :’Error establishing a database connection’

    Is there anyway you can check if the problem is with my installation or the database? site is https://www.sleepingbudgie.com

    Any help would be great as it’s driving me crazy!!!!! ??

  • I believe you haven’t set up database user settings right.
    Please be sure you assigned the right user to right database at control panel.

    Some times it happens if the database server is down. Contact your support in this regard. I have shifted my site with a new host when I was facing the same issue with my host. [Hosting link moderated]
