2nd Category group

I have a client who’s site I’m building and I’m thinking we need to have more than one category group as there are things that should be categorized to assist in showing the proper post and all, but the category items are not related.

The site is SuperBangers.com (no, it’s not a porn site, it’s a music site) and they want to have stuff categorized as Music Genres, but then they also want Hottie of the Week and News. So I figure if I can do multiple category groups, I can then customize the loop for each page so that it will only show that applicable category group.

They also want a drop-down menu in the sidebar for the music genres so we don’t want Hottie of the Week or News to show up in that list.

Any suggestions?
