As the answer you provided doesn’t solve the problem (no such option in FREE version settings) I’m reposting this whole conversation:

Right now I have an WP Editor user that needs access to WP G maps plugin but the plugin itself is not visible for the Editor user role. What is the best way to change/fix it (hardcoding included)? Dealing with few free access / user role plugins didn’t solve the problem.

    Hi there
There is a setting for this in the Maps->Settings page. Have you given that a bash? ??

Hi, is this for PRO version only because there is nothing like that in the settings page of the FREE version?

    Thank you.

    Hi PlaviPixel
Please open WPGoogleMaps.php and search for “manage_options”. Replace that with “moderate_comments” to allow editors access to the map editor.

And just for the record, there is an option in the FREE version that caters for this:

I am terribly sorry for wasting your time – it came out that I have another plugin with almost same name (WP Google Map) and that where all confusion came from.

Thank you for your time, help and patience. Regards,

Hi, we tried to use your plugin instead, but after installation and upon activation we got Error message:

Fatal error: Class ‘DOMDocument’ not found in
    /home/XxXxXxXx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-maps/wpGoogleMaps.php*on line *1722

Do you have any clue what might be a problem?

Seems like it’s not your lucky day!
Your host would need to enable the “PHP-XML” extension. It’s a pretty standard extension and should be active by default.

It works, thank you and BR. Hopefully no more problems for… at least this year ??
