2mb file size limit wordpress 4.1

  • Hello
    I have some sites that are limited to 2mb file upload. And on the same server some are limited to 32mb.
    I need to be able to upload larger files than 2mb.
    I’ve tried adding the info to the .htaccess but I always get internal server error. I’ve tried changing the fonction.php of the theme but with no success. Anyone have any other suggestions?
