    Hi

Is it possible to activate the 2FA only for specific users with the role admin?

When we activate the 2FA in websites that have more then one user admin how can the “secound” admin login? This is when we activate the 2FA on the backoffice we scan the qrcode an after entering the code the 2FA is activated for all admin user. And this is ok and what we what. But what if we have other user admin, with different login data, what would he have to do to get is own 2FA code?

Hi @colourinvasion, thanks for getting in touch.

If 2FA is enabled for a certain role, all users with that role will have the ability to set up 2FA on their account. I can certainly consider this as a development request and pass it on to our development team for consideration in future versions of Wordfence.

We do recommend that any user with administrative access has 2FA enabled for best-practice in security, so I can’t guarantee inclusion in the plugin but everything submitted will be discussed internally.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
