    Hi,

I’m using this 2FA plugin to enable the 2FA feature for “Subscriber”-role users, this is non negotiable since the custom features on our site only for subscriber-role users.

Here’s the problem that I’m having: Whenever the Subscriber-role users trying to setup the 2FA (after they first log-in the’re prompted to set up the 2FA). However, when the user click on the “Configure 2FA Now”, they are redirected to the WooCommerce’s My Account page.

now, what i’m suspecting is here: I think the problem is caused by the 2FA needs to be set up via the wp-admin (because when i copy the link on the “Configure 2FA Now” is like this: “https://site.link/wp-admin/profile.php?show=wp-2fa-setup”

Is it possible to setup the 2FA for the Subscriber role? Am i Missing something on the setup wizard? how can i fix this problem? Thanks

    Hello kemalkautsar!

I am really sorry to hear about this experience with our plugin.

    1. Can you tell me if this happens on the latest plugin version 2.8.0? Also, are you using the Free or Premium edition of our plugin?

    2. You mentioned that “when the user click on the “Configure 2FA Now”, they are redirected to the WooCommerce’s My Account page”, so does this happen when trying to log in from the default WordPress log in form, or a custom log in form?

    3. Does the above mentioned happens for all user roles, or only for Subscribers? It might be worth trying from different browsers and/or incognito mode as well, just to avoid caches or some other third parties being involved into this test, and to ensure multiple browsers provide the same test outcomes.

    4. In regards to what you previously mentioned “when i copy the link on the “Configure 2FA Now” is like this: “https://site.link/wp-admin/profile.php?show=wp-2fa-setup””
Can you confirm that Subscribers have full access on the backend of the site as well, without any limitations? This is in regards to what you have previously explained,

Looking forward to hearing back from you on this with as many details as possible!

    Hello there,

I am looking at adding 2FA on our subscription site, powered by Woo Subscriptions.

I would just like confirmation that WP2FA can be configured in such a way that:

    1. each customer (subscriber) of which we have about 600, can have this applied at their log in stage? (Checking this is not just for admin staff, / site owners etc).

    2. Secondly, can it be configured to use OTP by only SMS or authenticator app? Would like to avoid email.

    3. Lastly can it be configured to only ask for authentication every 48 hrs / week instead of at every log in attempt?

If you can let me know more about your product that would be much apprecatiated

    Kind Regards

    J
