    Hi Folks,

    We’re implementing 2FA for a client.

The issue is that when the user (subscriber role) follows the link to “Configure 2FA” their profile is displayed with WP dashboard items we’d rather not have them have access to. For example, the WP dashboard displays:
    – Dashboard
    – Jetpack
    – Profile
    – Login security

How can we limit this and have them activate WordFence 2FA without access to the dashboard or some other more elegant way? Or at the very least display only the “Login Security” option of the dashboard?

We look forward to hearing from you,

    Cheers!

    Hi?@gillesgagnon,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Are you using an alternative User Management plugin by any chance?

I tested this on my end with a Subscriber role. When I log in, I can only access the “Edit Profile” page, which is accessible via profile.php and the Wordfence Login Security page.

Please confirm and let me know.

    Thanks,

    Janet

    Hi Janet,

Thanks for getting back to me. Not using any user management plugin. Perhaps I wasn’t clear.

We’d like both the Profile and the “Dashboard” pages to be absent from the menu when users are directed to the 2FA activation page, via the link they receive.

We look forward to hearing from you.
