    Hi there,

When I setup the 2FA I specified that ut was only Required for admin and shop managers because I run a large private ecommerce store and I didn’t want our users to expereince any complications.

However, it applied the 2FA to all users.

I tested this with both Disabled and Optional for our customers however this made no difference. They still had to use the 2FA.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Has anyone else expereineced this before?

Unfortunately, I have had to diasble the feature entirely so that our customers can use the website without any issues.

Hi @christinelifetime, thanks for getting in touch.

The nature of the problem sounds to me like the 2FA, which is compatible with default WordPress and WooCommerce login pages might be conflicting with a custom or plugin-generated customer login page, so the login flow isn’t getting a value that it expects.

Do you also have reCAPTCHA enabled or just 2FA?

If you are using WooCommerce and the customers without 2FA are trying to log in via the “/my-account” page, ensure Wordfence > Login Security > Settings > Enable WooCommerce integration is checked.

If nothing seems to help, it may assist us to see a report from the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics menu. You can send that to us at wftest @ wordfence . com. Click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,
    Peter.
