I have the plugin activated and setup. Does this plugin not work at all ( premium or free ) if 2 factor authentication is enabled on facebook? I receive the following error:

Facebook 2 Factor Authentication is enabled. Could not pull feed. Contact Administrator.

I couldn’t find any questions or documentation on this in the FAQs. We disabled 2FA and continue to receive the error.

    – Does the plugin ( free or premium ) work with 2FA from facebooks end?
    – With 2FA disabled it shows the same error – what can we do to clear the cache? ( We do not have a caching plugin installed )

    Hi @howdy_mcgee,

I hadn’t tested this before but just did so and didn’t run into any issues displaying a feed. Where are you receiving that error message? Two factor authentication should only apply to personal Facebook accounts whereas our plugin uses “Page” Access Tokens and so it shouldn’t affect it.

If you’re seeing that error somewhere in our plugin then could you either send me a link (if it’s on the front-end of your site), or a screenshot if it’s in the admin?

    Many thanks,

    John
