Hi @lordsnake,
The option to allowlist your IP in Wordfence Central can be found in Configuration. In the Configuration tab, click on your domain. In the Login Security Options section, expand General. The first option there — Allowlisted IP addresses that bypass 2FA and reCAPTCHA?— is the one you will want to add your IP to.
If you can’t locate this option, you might try using one of your 2FA recovery codes or adding the 2FA code to the end of your password. For example, if your password is w0rdf3nce#! and the code is 233455, enter w0rdf3nce#!233455.
If needed, you can also deactivate the plugin temporarily by doing the following:
- Please use FTP/SFTP — or any file manager your web host provides via their administration panel.
- Look inside the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and rename the wordfence directory to wordfence.bak.
- Once you have logged in to your WordPress admin you can name the folder back to wordfence again.
- Refresh your dashboard and you should be able to see Wordfence Active again. If not, go to the Plugins page and Activate it.
Please let us know if you run into any issues!
Thanks,
Margaret
