The best way to post a question about a plugin in the forums is as follows:
1. Go find the plugin in the Plugins Directory.
2. On the bottom right corner of the page, you’ll find a list of threads about that plugin, under the header “See what others are saying…”.
3. Below that, you’ll find a link to “Write a new topic.”
That link will let you create a forum post about that plugin specifically. It’ll automatically get tagged with the plugin information and get the name of the plugin in its title. The plugin author will be able to easily see the plugin topic on their plugin’s page, and will more easily be able to respond if necessary.
Whenever you want to talk about a plugin, use that approach for maximum effectiveness.
