• Editing pages or posts, the “Visibility” link is supposed to open up and give options (Public, Private, Password Protected) when clicked. On a Mac this no longer works in v. 2.9.2. I have unsuccessfully tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome on two different machines using two different versions of Leopard OS and different video cards etc. It works only in Opera. It does work on a PC using IE.

Hm… I have a fresh install on a Mac that I use for testing and it seems to be working fine on 2.9.2 in Firefox & Safari. If you’ve recently upgraded, maybe some files didn’t get copied over?

Well, I’ll be darned. Thanks for the tip. I have checked a couple other sites, and they seem to be fine. So the trick is, which files?

Most *likely* a file in your wp-admin folder. If the drop-downs aren’t working it may be the js, if the click region is registering incorrectly it could be the css. You could make a backup and then replace the folder with a fresh version, that would also catch any other files that may have copied incorrectly the first time.
