2.9.2, posts and spellcheck

  • When adding a post, in visual mode, spellcheck seems to go through the motions and tells me no errors found. However, I have purposely mis-spelled words, and still it tells me no errors found.

    Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    it deactivated all plugins and reverted to the default theme . . . this is what i typed in a post:

    thes poset weill haave wurds noot spealed wrieght

    spell check did not find any errors???

    The spell checker can be turned on and off by clicking on the Check spelling button. Are you sure it is on?

    yes, but some reason it just won’t check . . . but now i’ve installed the plug in “after the deadling” and all is o.k.
