2.9.2 manual install

  • I’m very new to all this. What steps do I need to follow to manually install 2.9.2? The auto installation isn’t working.

    Do you want to upgrade the version or you are going to install fresh wordpress?

    My initial thought was to upgrade the version.

    Any progress on this issue? I’m having the same problem. I can’t seem to upgrade 2.9.1 to 2.9.2. When I attempt the automatic upgrade, I get a page that asks for a Hostname, Username, Password, and Connection Type. I’ve tried using my control panel login information, MySQL login info, etc, but just can’t seem to get it to work…

    Is the manual upgrade fairly similar to a fresh installation? I can’t imagine it is…
