While attempting to solve the quite annoying behaviour of the default Arras theme navbar, I fiddled about in the code and now seemingly have made a mess. Categories, which should be showing up in the navbar, no longer display. Even when I add new categories…nada.

Anyway, I figure the best thing is to simply replace my damaged code with a fresh version of the category-template.php for WP 2.9.1, but I’ll be damned if I know where to find it. Can anyone direct me or better yet, supply me with it?

  • It’s in the wp-includes folder though don’t know why you would need to do that.

Seems you’d want to replace the theme template file (wp-content/themes/your-theme folder) you ‘damaged’.

I found a work around. Thanks for the response though.
