2.9 Issue? Category Slugs

  • Hi guys,

    I noticed today that my category slugs are not what they used to were – I am pretty sure but not 100% but I did notice it just now.

    It’s not with every slug.

    I have lets say some main categories and a few sub categories and even some more thirdlevel categories.

    there are 2 of them that have a slug I cannot change (2nd level cat)

    the slug is toplevel cat name dash second level cat name (uneditable)

    with another I have a slug that is a combination of 2 toplevel slugs … unchangeable.

    Any body else encounter this?

    will dig into db and see what it says there.

    tags are stored in wp_terms but I can’t for the life of me find anything cat like

    never mind, tags and cats are stored in wp_terms

    Ok, looks like I cannot update as I have tags that are identical to categories.

    I didn’t notice that I have had issues with this before …. is that known to everyone but me?
