• I was wondering if I am the only one to have this bug. I use WordPress 2.8b2 and when I activate one plugin from the following list : WP-Cumulus, FLV Embed, MyCss, WordPress.com Stats and WP-EasyArchives, the dashboard admin page turns to just one box “Right Now / At the Glance” and every others boxes disappear. Then, I can’t click in “Screen Options” and “Help” (it doesn’t do anything). If I deactivate the plugin, it turns back to normal.

Any idea what could be the problem ?

    Thanks

So I guess, I’m the only one ? Saaaaad.

WP-Cumulus and WordPress.com Stats do not cause this problem for me.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and then activating the plugins one by one, to see which, if any, is the culprit?

    Cheers!

Yes, I have tried to activate them one by one and that’s not working (when I click on “screen options”, it doesn’t do anything either).

Is there some place where I can flush the wordpress cache ? Maybe the answer is there ? I’ve tried to put the classic theme, but it does the same…

    Thanks for your help !

Well, it’s weird. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It seems however that three plugins break my dashboard page (Platinum SEO Pack, FLV Embed and WordPress.com Stats)…

How can I fix this (reset something on wordpress would be a great idea, but I can’t find a “reset” button on the admin page :-))

artypop, FLV Embed and Platinum SEO don’t cause any such issue for me.

Here is what I would try next:

    1. Check with another browser.

    2. Completely delete two directories in the WP installation: a. wp-admin; b. wp-includes, and then reupload them.

Well… Nothing changed. I even try to clean the db and delete some wp_options rows, but it remains the same way… I can’t figure out what the problem is, that’s lame ! thanks for your help anyway.

Again, I made a fresh install to check, same theme, same plugins but a new database and it doesn’t worked…

    I can’t understand. I’ll wait for 2.8…
