    Hi,

In my footer I am getting an odd string error,

    Here is the error:

    string(9) “post-4395”

I have never seen this before it just started happening,

The post-### changes on different posts as well.

I tried looking this up before posting but found nothing.

    Any ideas.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to your reply

    Joseph

  • This is probably not enough information to diagnose the problem

    G’day.
You know, I just started seeing this in my header area, to the right of the header photo, but visually above and still to the right of the sidebar.
    WP 2.7.1, theme OceanMist2
    blog here: https://www.menoqueenllc.com/blog/
    theme: https://www.tenbytwenty.com/products/category/wordpress-themes

I am getting only “string(9) “post-1004″ ” up there, the ‘post-” number doesn’t seem to change.

First noticed it after installing slideshare plugin, be have since deactivated that and removed it from the plugins directory…so that might be a coincidence.
I have not changed theme, yet but I might try that next to see if I can eliminate that as the casue.

    Thanks for any thoughts.
    Rick

Viewing the source in MSIE browser, the last lines in that view looks like this:

    string(9) "post-1004"

Seems that this funky little line is After the closing </HTML> tage!
    (the plot thickens)

Still can’t quite “get it”…but mine changes the “post-xxx” number with each change of theme. In the same theme, all articles have teh same number.
Anyone? Got someplace to start looking?
    thanks,
    rick

OK, My number just went from 1004 to 1060.
And at this moment, there are 104 published Posts, and 106 Posts total.
    Just thinking out loud, now.
    thanks,
    rick

I just started getting this yesterday as well. I upgraded some plugins the day before and the next day this started to occur.

    string(9) “post-1536”

The post # also changes but I can’t seem to figure out what it means. Sometimes it’s string(8) and others string(9). Plugins that I upgraded are:

    Platinum SEO Pack
    Scissors
    WassUp

And after posting that I think I figured it out. It’s the new WassUp plugin. It is somehow causing that to show up on the site. Once it was disabled it stopped showing up.
