(270) "2" is not a valid Interest Group

    Hi –
    I keep receiving an error message (by email) and no one is being added to the mailing list. It doesn’t seem to matter if I have Group names plugged in or not.

    (270) “2” is not a valid Interest Group

    I have the API plugged in. I read through another string here to make sure I had ‘Group’ and ‘interest groups’ correct in my configuration.

    Running Woocommerce 2.0 / WP 3.8 – is using the previous WooCommerce not allowing this to function properly?

  • I have the last woocommerce version (2.1.6), i have WordPress Version 3.8.1 (latest) and today i recived this error too. My error is: (270) “1” is not a valid Interest Group for the list: List Name.

    Until today everything worked perfectly.

    I don’t have a group added, because in the description says that is optional.

    Need help with this. Thank you.

    Can both of you post what you have in the plugin settings for Group Name and Groups?

    I had a a text in the group name, but i deleted after i posted this message. The Groups field was blank all the time.

    but worked with the text i had in the Group Name. Today, after a client made an order, i recived that message. Until today, everything worked fine. With text in group name & blank in Groups.

    Same problem here. I get “4” is not a valid interest group.

    similar problem here:

    rolled back to plugin version 1.2.6 and it works again.

    All,

    My apologies for this issue. I just published version 1.3.1 of the plugin which fixes this bug introduced in version 1.3. It was a simply transposition of parameters on an apply_filters call. I hadn’t caught it because I was intercepting the bug with an add_filter call I was using to test it and that was hiding the problem on my test site. I have corrected this and tested it with and without the add_filter hook. It now behaves just as it did in 1.2.6. Please update and let me know if you have any issues.
