2.7 PressThis major annoyances: any fix?

  • I just upgraded to 2.7 and find some changes extremelly annoying; I’d be grateful if you can tell me a workaround:

    – Adding pictures: after you add one, the pictures box dissapears and you have to load it again for another pic. Also, the pictures are now centered by default.

    – Window size: before 2.7, I had the pressthis shortcut with a different window size than default; With 2.7, after the window has finished loading, it reverts to the default res. (it actually makes the window with my custom res when I launch it, but then gets auto-resized)

    – The window always appears in the top-left corner.

    I use a 24″ LCD and the default small window is an extreme annoyance.
