2.7 Post Template option gone

    I’ve just upgraded to v2.7. On previous versions I’ve always been able to change the template used for a Post or a Page in the same manner. After upgrading to 2.7 I can still change the template used on a Page, but a Post no longer provides me the option to change the template. Am I missing something?
