2.7 Internal Server Error and 404 message in many places

    Since I upgraded to WP 2.7, whenever I go to any of the dashboard tools menu, the add new plugin page or the import page, I get the following error

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, (my address) and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Just to add: my error log shows the following when I try to access the tools menu

    [2009-01-02 08:57:48]: error: file is writable by others: (/home/kouya/public_html/wp-admin/tools.php)

    OK with a bit of digging I found that a number of WP files had their permissions set to 0666 rather than 0644. I changed this and everything seems to be happy now. Thanks for reading.
