2.5.1 upgrade and comment moderation problem.

  • I upgraged to 2.5.1. I have 2 comments awaiting moderation, however when I go to moderate it, it states that “No comments awaiting moderation… yet.”

    Is there a patch to use, or do I have something uploaded incoorectly?

    I have one comment awaiting moderation is says Awaiting Moderation (1) but when I click on the tab, I get an empty table.

    I had this problem when I updated to 2.5 and it survived to 2.5.1

    We are also experiencing this issue. What’s bizarre is that I can restore from a previous mysqldump backup file of the entire blog from one specific point and it will function properly. However, any changes or restores and the comments disappear again. Showing in both 2.5 and 2.5.1.
    I’m seeing multiple forum posts about this, but haven’t seen much mention of a fix. Any suggestions?

    Same here. Note that we just upgraded from an older version of WP (I believe 2.1.3 but can’t be sure).

    The upgrade itself went just fine and the blog appears just fine. Users are able to submit comments (I tested myself) but comments do not appear in the mod queue, exactly as rockson explains above.
