250002: Invalid Authentication Information

    I’m currently using version 2.2.17 of the UPS Live Rates and Access Points PRO plugin, and it’s reporting the error: “250002: Invalid Authentication Information.” I noticed that someone else has recently posted about experiencing the same issue.

    I revoked and attempted to re-authorize, but that failed. For now, I’m able to use the “API Access Key” to retrieve rates, but I would like to get this authentication problem resolved.

    Additionally, could we implement a feature in the plugin that performs a regular authentication check? If authentication fails, it would be very useful if the plugin could send an email notification alerting us to the issue. This proactive approach would help us catch the problem before customers are affected by shipping errors.

    Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry that you’re experiencing issues with the OAuth authorization method.

    May I kindly ask if you’re using the most up-to-date version of the plugin?

    Yes. I am using Version 3.0.0 of the Pro plugin and it is now working.

    Would it be possible to have the plugin do a regular check to make sure OAuth is working and if not, that it sends an email notification to the Admin?

    Thanks for the confirmation. Our developers are actively working to address the OAuth issue. We’ll let you know here once the fix is released.

    Regarding the email notifications. Our plugin doesn’t allow doing that?yet. Nevertheless, it sounds like a really useful feature to consider. I’ve already put it on our features requests list, and we will check it with the rest of the team. I’ve also added you to the list of the people interested in such a feature.
