2.5 Uploader Problem No Buttons

    I read the 2.5 Image/Media Uploader Problems thread created by Otto but it doesn’t help me.

    The buttons don’t show when I create a new post. I disabled all plugins and it still doesn’t show. So, I installed the No Flash plugin, activated it, went to write a new post and no dice. There is no upload feature.

    You can see what I mean if you go to my blog (https://wargamingforums.com) and try to write a post.

    I don’t know how this happened and I don’t know what is causing it. I removed custom fields (via phpmyadmin) but made sure to only remove ones pertaining to two certain plugins.

    Has anyone else encountered this and can anyone help me fix this?

  • Yes I have the same problem in Konqueror. No upload buttons.
    It is probably is just a pile of crappy code.
    I can not understand, why did they had to frack up a working uploader (yes, it still needed a “Flexible upload” plugin to make it usable).

    “No Flash” plugin is OK, works fine in Mozilla. Thak you.

    BTW, whole WP 2.5 admin interface is annoying. Good example of poor usability and functionality. AND IT SUCKS!

    PS! Flash works OK in Konqueror and Mozilla but not in WP 2.5.1 stink’n uploader thingy. ??
