I am using WordPress 4.1.1 with Woocommerce 2.3.5 and my site has 16000 products in it. I am watching my wp_options table and I am generating 25,000 transients an hour which is totally bloating my wp_options table and making my back end unusable.

Is this even possible that Woocommerce and WordPress would be creating this many transients?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • If you are using cpanel, there is an option called “Raw Access logs” which should tell you the IP addresses of who is accessing your site. My guess is its mostly one bot from one IP address. Then use the “IP Address Deny Manager” to keep it out.

Bot might be ddos attacking your server to crash it.

Have you host check it out.
