2.5 Messes Up Image Pages

Hi guys,

So, I had my host upgrade me to WP 2.5, after they suggested several times that I do so. I was nervous about it, because upgrades never end with me happy, but I finally agreed to let them do it.

Silly of me.

Basically, since I’m using the Default WP theme, it overwrote some of my theme files (my host failed to warn me about this). What I don’t understand is that it seems not to have completely overwritten them, but bumped them back to versions I was using about a month ago. Why on earth would this happen? How would it happen?

The more pressing problem is one I haven’t seen before. When thumbnails are clicked on, it opens up a page that spreads the image across the index area and the sidebar. See example here:

It looks awful and plus it doesn’t run the ads in the sidebar.
