2.5 does not work with 3.9.1

We have tested Smooth Slider 2.5 with the latest version of WordPress i.e. 3.9.1 and it works perfectly fine. Because we released an upgrade after so many days and made few changes in core JS and CSS Files, I would suggest following things after an upgrade.

Once you upgrade Smooth Slider, follow below steps

• Go to the Smooth SLider Settings page and hit Save button for once
• Clear browser cache
• Clear server cache or CDN Cache (if using any)

We have the same problem. Followed all recommendations in other posts. Disabled all other plugins. Still have stacked posts. The “preview” in the back end works fine. Where can I down load the previous version? Thank you.

Found the downloads – v 2.4 works find. There is definitely an issue with 2.5x

The site I’m using the smooth slider on is a child theme of Twenty Twelve. There is a front page template in the child theme, and the smooth slider is only used on the front page. I wonder if there is a conflict with some themes and their children.

I’m having the same issue with smooth slider on the front page of responsive-child theme. I’ve tried suggestions that have been recommended for others in the forum; unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be a java script issue. Think the solution for now is just to download the previous version.

WmsCtyRecorderOfc, is also using a child theme. We could use confirmation from others who are also using child themes and experiencing problems with smooth slider’s latest version. Anyone else?
