RSS Feed Search/Post

  • Hi, I am looking for a way to setup an RSS feed that can appear on WP 1.5. Furthermore, I’d like to be able to setup queries to various RSS feeds and display only specific results that contain said query. One example might be to search 3 newspaper feeds and some blogs for any articles mentioning “WordPress 1.5” and then display these results on my blog.

    Ideas for how to implement this would be greatly appreciated!!

    As long as a feed is using PHP and allows a search query to be passed (like WordPress), this should be a snap.

    Beyond that, you’re sort of at the mercy of the syndication providers. Or hopefully, you’re up to the task of programming something that would perform these searches and then collect and collate the results into an rss format. I wouldn’t say impossible, but not easy.
