    Hello

Right after activating the field …

“$_SERVER keys to retrieve extra IP addresses” with “HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR”

… I had a problem with the settings page of the plugin (I can no more say the exact message (was too fast). However after a reload of the settings page, the field …

“Bad signatures in query” was no more filled with “/wp-config.php,/passwd” – it was filled with something like this:

    “sdflkjsfdljk73234l23409##–“

it was not really this string (unfortunately I have no more a copy of this) but you should know this.

I have removed the string in “$_SERVER keys to retrieve extra IP addresses” field again …

Of course, I don’t know, if really this field was the problem.

    Kind regards!

    Hi Alpengreis,

    I’m sorry about your inconvenient.

I think you had failed to “Save Changes” by some reason. So please try to click “Settings” tab again (not reloading with browser’s button) if you have still some trouble. Then you reload the correct data from your server.

Actually, this plugin scrambles the “Bad signatures in query” before sending form data to your server in order not to be blocked by itself. But sometimes, this would cause a similar trouble.

I’m thinking redesign of this function.

    Thanks for the heads-up!

    Hello tokkonopapa

Thank you VERY much for your fast response here too!

Yes, you are right, it was a unsuccessfully “Save Changes” try “only”.

    Nothing wild so far …

    However: thanks for detailed explanation!
