Hello, just to let you know that after uninstalling the plugin, 22 orphaned database tables (wfblockediplog wfblocks7` wfconfig wfcrawlers wffilechanges wffilemods wfhits wfhoover wfissues wfknownfilelist wflivetraffichuman wflocs wflogins wfls_2fa_secrets wfls_role_counts wfls_settings wfnotifications wfpendingissues wfreversecache wfsnipcache wfstatus and wftrafficrates) will remain in the WordPress database.

They should be deleted automatically upon uninstall. Some of them have data in them so I don’t know if it’s safe to remove them. Has this issue been addressed in the latest version of the plugin? Is it safe to remove all these tables if I don’t have Wordfance installed anymore?

    Thank you!

    Hi @nestormarius

Our tables are not deleted automatically as you have to enable the option in the plugin for the tables to be deleted upon deactivation. You can use our companion plugin Wordfence Assistant to delete the tables. You can also remove them manually after creating a backup of your database.

    Hello @wfphil

Thank you for the quick reply. I’ve installed Wordfence Assistant and it successfully deleted all the Wordfence tables from my database, except one called wfls_role_counts that I had to manually drop (it was empty btw). It’s all good now, thanks for your support!
