Blank page when submitting comments

  • Hi,
    I’ve just installed the latest stable version afresh and I’m getting to grips with it. However, when I try and post a comment I get taken to the wp-comments-post.php page, but the page source consists of just <html><body></body></html> and the comment doesn’t seem to have been applied when I refresh the original article. What’s going on? Any ideas?

    Delete both wp-comments.php and wp-comments-post.php and replace each with a freshly downloaded copy.

    I have. This is on a completely fresh install with no modifications, based on code downloaded today. I’ve just re-installed again, completely cleanly and I still have the same problem.

    You don’t have any plugins enabled do you?
