2.1 Upgrade: Plugins and Themes

  • Upgraded just the other day, and some of my readers pointed out to me that the “Next” link at the bottom of a vannillamist.com “Connections” theme was no longer present. The same was true in archives links, even though the arch showed 100 entries for the month of January, only the top 10 were accessible.

    Seperately, I can’t seem to add any new plugins at my sub-blog – they don’t show up to activate, even plugins that are theoretically 2.1 compliant.

  • 1. You should have read before rushing into the upgrade…
    2. Lots of plugins and themes do NOT work with 2.1.
    2a. Several plugins have been reported to break the next/prev navigation (adhesive for example)

    Well thanks for that last bit – I’ll give it a go.

    Update: And it worked. Problem half-way solved.
