@keo19 – As the error message you received is server related, what are your server error log files showing for this same time-frame?

    Thanks!

@photocrati, I have some "GET ... HTTP/1.0" 500", it appears just after the upgrade.

@keo19 – Perhaps you would like to submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a closer look at this issue?

We will likely need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation, please include those on the Bug Report, too.

    Thanks!

@keo19 – Thanks for linking to that screenshot but it only really shows it pointing to your site, there is nothing specifically indicating NextGEN that I can see.

My website is so slowly and didn’t work. I give up, I will download all my photo and then, I will upload them with WP.

I am experiencing this same issue, both with 2.0.40 and the previous version. The site sits for a while then has a internal server error (500). When I disable the NextGen plugin, all is well. I went through my plugins one by one and this is the one that is causing the 500 error.

This still occurs even in Version 2.0.66.17.

Seems to be high memory usage, when using this plugin with a large collection of others, such as NextGEN Public Uploader, Justified Image Grids, etc.

‘ERROR 500 – INTERNAL SERVER ERROR’

Occurs mostly via the admin backend – gallery settings/options or management pages of this plugin.

Pretty sure it’s memory related or due to overlapping plugins. Increasing WordPress WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to 256MB didn’t help. However, deactivating other plugins such as NextGEN Public Uploader, helps a lot.

@3lancer – Thanks for that observation, but if you are having a specific issue it would be better to start your own topic than to bring forward one that is very old.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
