[2.0.3] Deleting Categories, Javascript slow

  • Hi all.. I just wanted to ask if someone could confirm the following:

    I am on Firefox 1.5.0.4 and installed WP 2.0.3 yesterday. Now if i click on “Delete” in Manage Categories the script causes Firefox to be slow, CPU goes up to 100% and Firefox asks me if i want to stop the script.

    Furthermore it says “processing data…” on the bottom of the categorie-listing but nothing happens. I think this is a major problem rendering cat-administration useless. Couldn’t find a post about it anywhere so excuse me if this is a dupe.

    Bug? Browser-specific? Fix availble?

  • What OS are you using? I’ve used firefox 1.5.0.4 with that version of wordpress on Mac OS X 10.4.x and xp service pack 2 without observing this problem.

    Do you have lots of ram?
