2020 Theme, Latest Posts not displaying excerpt

  • Hey:

    I have version 1.5 of the Twenty Twenty theme. I have the following Latest Posts block in group block:

    I have excerpt turned on, but I it is not displaying the excerpts.

    Hey:

    Some posts with text displays no excerpt and other do display an excerpt. I have been looking at the source code on github, but nothing is popping out at me yet.

    Hey:

    Did not find the code issue in github, but by trial and error, I figured that adding a Group block causes the excerpt to disappear.
