2015 Theme left column appears on Blank Slate

    I am trying to set a totally blank Static front page, with just a Login details request. I am using Simple Membership and Blank Slate with a Child 2015 theme. The blank Page is there, as are the login Boxes, but the left hand Blue Bar (WP 2015 Theme) is still there and obstructing the login details. I want to get rid of this column. Can you help?
