2015 Theme Home Page Sticky Post Background Graphic

  • Hi,

    I have two sticky posts that appear on my home page using the standard 2015 theme. These two sticky post titles have a black background, but the fill off to the right these is not black, but a striped grayish carbon fiber look.

    Might anyone clue me in to what I might do to change that area to black like the background of the Sticky Post Titles?

    I looked and looked but couldn’t find the graphic or info in numerous searches.

  • Looks like TwentyFourteen to me. I didn’t find the code for the striped area either. I think it’s the space available for a third sticky post. You could try create one. And maybe leave the title and content blank if you really don’t want it.

    @santeven – thanks for noting my mistake that the theme is 2014.

    The problem with adding a third sticky post is it makes mobile devices wrap, whereas two sticky posts are perfect for that. I tried your noting of a blank/space only title/content post/page and no combination seemed to work.

    Anyone know what the jcrop.gif is for? Could that be it? Tried to change it but didn’t see any difference after clearing the cache.

    I know that graphic comes from somewhere and just wish I could make it black like the rest.

    I never figured this out and based on that and the issues I was having on mobile, I just went back to a page selected for the home page instead. Not super on mobile quite yet…
