  • Something just occurred to me – what happens to the 2014 theme next year. If I do all this work on it and the new theme comes out next year will I need to change my site again? Maybe a silly question but just wondered if 2011, 12 and 13 themes are still intact.

  • Themes don’t jsut magicly update to the next year unless you change your sites theme yourself. So don’t owrry, your site won’t chnage unless you tell it to.

    One thing to note though… I hope that you’ve done your changes in a child theme? If not then you should look at mirgating all of the changes to a child theme so any future updates of your current theme don’t wipe out your changes.

    To clarify, the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 themes are all separate themes.
