2012 theme footer problem it stuck top

I have a problem im making my child theme using twentyle twelve but the problem is if i put a position absolute in the content part the footer class colophon suddenly stick at the top its ignoring the part of content even if i put a position relative in the parent then all the siblings is position absolute;
