I’m exploring the 2011 theme, and I see that we can now upload an image through the dashboard. My question is: can we upload several images, and have them randomly selected instead of the images provided in the theme? I have about 15 or so images that I’d like to use.

In my current implementation, I rather significantly modified the header file of my theme to do this. If there’s a way to do it without modifying theme code, I’d much prefer to do it that way.

    Thanks.

OK…I’ve got a follow-up question. I went ahead and loaded a bunch of images. Now, I’ve decided to create a child theme. Can I somehow grab those automatically, or do I need to go through the upload process again?

I don’t mind repeating the work, but I’d prefer not to have two copies of the header images if possible.

    Thanks.

when activate the theme check your Appearance>>>>Header they should be there.

They’re not there (in the child theme). Perhaps I did something wrong (or incomplete) in creating the child theme, but…it seems to be working otherwise.

They would be in media library if you want to delete theme and re upload them.
