    Hey String Locator, I want to say that your plugin has been greatly helpful to me for clearing out malicious code from a few of my sites. A few of my other sites are still infected and I have been trying to deal with this the same way but these sites throw this error
    “200 SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
    The above error was returned by your server, for more details please consult your servers error logs.”
    when I try to use the String Locator at all, are you able to tell me which of the core files may have been modified to cause this issue?

    I’m afraid I can’t say that…. what you could do is run the integrity checker from the Health Check plugin, which will show which (if any) core files have been modified in any way.
