  • Agreed,

Comprehensive testing on various client sites. As soon as Next Gen deactivated everything is okay. As soon as it is activated only the home page can be accessed.

Hi – a few thoughts on this.

We don’t think this is an issue with WordPress 3.6 per se. We’ve updated quite a few sites without issues. But there are a fair number of separate issues with NextGEN 2.0 causing issues, regardless of WordPress version.

@fahnoe: We believe we’ve actually fixed the preg_match error message. You can update to our latest beta version (not yet formally released) and that should resolve your issue:

@chadwickjs: you’ve posted on three threads on this I think, but I’m not seeing any details about the issue, so it’s hard to tell you what to resolve. You have a few options:

If you just need a quick solution, you can roll back to the last version of NextGEN (1.9.13) and wait for a more stable subsequent update:

    https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/

You can try updating to the beta version to see if that resolves things for you.

You can check our list of known plugin conflicts and their effects here:

Otherwise, you can just provide some more detail on exactly what you’re seeing and we may be able to suggest other alternatives or troubleshoot more.

    Thanks.

Because the OP referenced the preg_match errors, and because we have a fix available for that one, and because it’s already fixed for the next update, I’m marking this on as resolved for now.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the replies and updates, I’ll stick with 1.9.13 for now while you attend to some of the other known issues on your list.
