2 YARPP widgets on the same page, pulling from different custom templates

Hi, I’m trying to leverage two YARPP widgets on the same page as I need to display related posts in one widget and related products (CPT) in another widget. These are related through custom taxonomies. I achieve this by leveraging two different YARPP custom templates filtering the loop via post_type=’product’. This much works as expected. However, I’m struggling with duplicated posts and products showing in each widget. When I query the cache table the duplicates do not exist. So I’m not sure if I’m duplicating the pool with each widget and I’m getting the same post from each pool? Anyone with any thoughts or experience here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
