2 Separate Max tickets for separate shows.

    Hi Malcolm,

    Quick question, is it possible in PHP/Java anywhere to set the Max ticket quantity of a separate show to be less than another show. We have 2 shows live at one time and one performance we are only allowing a max of 6 tickets per family at first. However the other show has a max of 19 before they can phone us for discounts.

    Is this possible?

    The Max Ticket quantity is not really a limit at all. It sets the maximum number when a “drop down” box is used to set the quantity. There is nothing to stop the prospective purchaser from adding this maximum more than once to get more tickets …. so probably not what you want anyway.

    For advanced users there is a WP filter (stageshow_filter_trolley) that is called each time the trolley is updated, and potentially this could be used to add some custom programming to achieve what you want.
