2 Separate login's needed (1 for customers, 1 for retailers)

Ill see if i can make this as simple as possible to understand… i am currently designing a clothing website, it does have a shopping cart and a customer login area for buying the goods and implementing there information. Now, i need a completely separate login which will be hidden for retailers/buyers to access catalogs.

I got the MEMBERS plugin and the REDIRECT one as well, thinking i could just give out a specific url which will not be available on the menu which will have a “create an account” and “login” settings in which the person will be instantly redirected to a private page containing catalogs.

Now here is my issue, if i set it up this way everyone just logs in under the same area (the customer login) since it is the standard area for the site. Now would it be possible to to have a completely separate login so the buyers can have an account for the private section and another one for the customer section if they wanted? This way there is no way someone who is a logged in as a customer can get to the private content.

Let me know if this makes sense.
