• Hi. There are 2 things that would really be helpful with your awesome plugin:

    1) In the desktop version, the “Enter” key sends the message automatically for me. It shouldn’t do that. Rather, it should only move the cursor down a line so that we can continue writing on a new line. The send/airplane button should be the only way to send the message. You have a setting for the mobile version to work this way.

    2) Can you include a way to enable or disable messaging access based on WordPress role?

    Thanks!

Also, the messaging time stamp on my site is 7 hours into the future and I can’t figure out why.

    1) it should be like that, use shift+enter for the new line.

    2) You can use filters and hooks to implement that

    3) Fix the time in your Windows/Mac/Linux or something wrong with time on server side.

Most people don’t know about shift+enter, so my users are complaining that their message sends when they just want a new line.

Will look into filters/hooks. I use a membership plugin called digitalaccesspass which cannot directly restrict messaging, but they recommended I ask you if there is a way they can insert some code around the message reply box and send button to protect? Does that involve filters/hooks like you suggested? Sorry, I’m not a developer.

Time zone settings all seem correct elsewhere, but I’ll keep looking into it.

    Thanks!
